Page builders are convenient—but they also bring unnecessary baggage that a small, high-quality website never needs. That's why we chose a different approach for the blue house, a single-pitched roof house in Friedrichskoog-Spitze right on the North Sea coast.
The site runs on a completely hand-built WordPress theme: style.css, functions.php, and template parts according to WordPress standards, without a framework or page builder. Landlords manage their own content via ACF fields and the customizer. The booking request module is custom-developed—featuring a date picker, blocked availability periods, live price calculation, and GDPR consent. Additionally, there's a masonry image gallery with a lightbox, as well as live weather data from the German Weather Service (DWD) and tide information from the German Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) tide calendar, both displayed directly on the site. Maps and fonts load in a privacy-friendly manner: the map only loads upon click, and the fonts are loaded locally.

Hairdo is an established brand for hair extensions in the USA. A separate brand presence was needed for the German market, one that would convey the brand, make a complex product range understandable, and cater to both German and English search queries.
This is implemented on WordPress with WooCommerce, based on the Basel theme plus extensive custom extensions. The products are configurable: one parent item per hairpiece, color variations as swatches, selection and purchase in seconds. We've modernized the product view—color swatches as a scannable list, trust badges, expandable detail information, and a clear focus on purchase. De Holtworm Carpentry — Craftsman's website, completely redesigned
deholtworm.de is the website of the carpentry workshop De Holtworm — Low German for "The Woodworm" — run by master carpenter Olaf Masekowsky in Friedrichskoog. We designed the logo and website; a complete overhaul was due in 2026, and this involved more than just the appearance.
From a design perspective, we rebuilt the core areas: a performance ribbon made up of ten wooden cards, seamless reference galleries with their own lightbox and zoom function on all ten performance pages, a streamlined header with live search, and a contact page with a workshop-like look. Technically, two key figures were crucial: the server response time, which used to be between 2,5 and 4 seconds, is now around 0,3 seconds—roughly ten times faster. In parallel, we completely eliminated deeply embedded malware; Wordfence reports zero detections. The entire foundation is now built on WordPress 7 and Elementor 4, supplemented by custom HTML/CSS modules and mu plugins where standard widgets fall short.

Propellerdiscount carries a wide range of boat accessories and marine spare parts. Their WordPress shop looked outdated—but a relaunch couldn't compromise either the established brand or the proven business logic behind it.
We completely redesigned the site's structure and layout, while deliberately retaining the logo and color scheme: The brand remains recognizable, and the overall look is modern. The homepage, category and product pages, shopping cart, checkout, and static pages were all restructured, and the category display was revised to accommodate a wide range of product variations. The search function now suggests relevant products along with key data as you type. Invisible but crucial: User roles, price groups, country-specific VAT, tiered shipping costs, base prices, and price import were seamlessly integrated. The go-live was conducted using a dedicated staging environment.
