Implementation of a Magento online shop for Videotronic-Nord (video and security technology). At its core is automated product and inventory synchronization with the supplier: product data, images, and PDF instructions are automatically maintained, and stock levels are synchronized every five minutes. We developed a custom interface for this purpose.
Project Overview
Videotronic-Nord operates a Magento online shop for video and security technology. The central task was the complete automation of product maintenance: Once a night, all attributes are checked, new products are added, discontinued products are deleted, and images and PDF documents (instructions, manufacturer information) are uploaded and assigned to the items. Inventory levels are synchronized with the manufacturer every five minutes—access is via SFTP using an extension we developed.
