Printing company, card supplier with designer – Magento 2

We have been working successfully for the Wimmer printing company from Aachen for several years. Their old shop had to be migrated from Magento 1 to 2, which, as is well known, is no easy task.

After successfully migrating the products, categories, and customer data to a Core Magento 2 developer environment, we began integrating the predefined design, provided by our graphic designer friends at the Scribble advertising agency, into the system.

The centerpiece is the "design configurator". With this tool, customers can design their own cards: selecting colors and fonts, uploading logos or personal images, writing text on the front or back of the card, and several other extras.

A clear navigation system with "mouse over" of the main categories (wedding, Christmas, occasions…) allows you to quickly find the desired products.

The search function is based on "elastic search", a very fast "search engine configuration".

Through the “Redirecting 404 search results means that 404 error messages are no longer displayed; instead, the product that seems most relevant to the non-existent page is shown. We also integrated the "Google Sitelinks Search" function for SEO Fair presentation of the results.

To complete the search, we have integrated an intelligent "autocomplete" function. Using Ajax technology, the system automatically provides product suggestions after the entry of three numbers/letters.

Another feature is the "Customers also bought" popup after clicking the "Add to Cart" button.

Here, customers are shown interesting products that previous customers also purchased when they bought the current product.

We call it "intelligent marketing," which greatly boosts sales.

A One Page Checkout (a clear checkout page), the integration of various payment methods such as PayPal Express, prepayment, Amazon Pay for Magento, Unzer (credit card, purchase on on account) as well as varying shipping costs across Europe round off this professional Magento shop.
