Magento is powerful for enterprise and complex B2B projects – but it's not the best choice for every project. As a shop agency serving Hamburg, Tornesch, and Schleswig-Holstein, we also develop WooCommerce and Shopware shops and provide platform-neutral advice on which shop system best suits your business model. And if you don't want to run your own server at all, we can build or migrate your shop to Shopify.
Developed from real customer projects, integrable without core hacks — ready to use immediately for Hyvä and Luma shops. Four of them are listed in the Adobe Commerce Marketplace and are therefore technically reviewed by Adobe.
Most Magento agencies install themes and configure third-party extensions. We write our own – four of them are available on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace.
Four custom extensions in the Adobe Commerce Marketplace
Smart One Page Checkout, B2B Register, Product Attachments, and Surcharge Max are listed there. Adobe technically reviews every submission before it appears—those listed have disclosed their code and passed the review. The same development work has gone into your project.
Custom modules instead of workarounds
If the standard solution isn't sufficient, we build the missing piece – without core hacks, cleanly as a module. In client projects, this has included, among other things, a custom one-page checkout with B2B field logic and a country-based tax engine. This is what distinguishes a Magento shop agency that develops from one that only configures.
Magento partner in Hamburg – and throughout Germany
Our office is in Tornesch in the Pinneberg district, half an hour from Hamburg. We work throughout Germany: projects are run remotely with dedicated contacts, and we schedule on-site meetings when they are beneficial.
From Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce
We have been supporting online stores since 2012 – from legacy Magento 1 systems to Magento 2 Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Therefore, when migrating, we not only know the destination but also the existing infrastructure within the legacy system.

Magento B2B Agency – Shops for business customers
Customer groups, tiered pricing, approvals and ERP integration – what distinguishes the B2B sector from a B2C shop?
Customer groups and tiered pricing
In B2B, not everyone sees the same price. Magento 2 offers customer groups, price lists, and tiered pricing; the challenge lies in seamlessly integrating them with the data maintained in the ERP system – ensuring that prices are generated in one place, not two.
Approvals, order numbers and budgets
Business customers rarely order alone. Approval workflows, multiple users per company account, order number as a mandatory field, and budget limits are the points on which B2B projects fall short in practice – and which we have implemented in our own modules.
ERP integration as the core of the B2B shop
A B2B shop without an integrated inventory management system is essentially a catalog. Items, stock levels, customer-specific prices, orders, and customer data all flow between Magento and your ERP system – whether SAP Business One, Dynamics 365, JTL-Wawi, or NetSuite.
Challenge:
50.000+ products, customized pricing, SAP integration and approval workflows.
Solution:
Adobe Commerce B2B with custom pricing, company accounts and SAP connector.
Result:
60% time savings in the ordering process, fully automated order processing.
International Retailer
Global expansion
Challenge:
Expansion into 12 countries with local currencies, taxes, and shipping rules.
Solution:
Multi-store setup with Geo-IP detection, local payment providers and CDN.
Result:
Successful launch in all markets, 250% international sales growth.
Tech start-up
Headless Commerce
Challenge:
Innovative user experience with React frontend and Magento backend.
Solution:
Headless setup with GraphQL API, PWA Studio and Microservices Architecture.
Result:
PageSpeed score 98/100, 50% better mobile conversion, future-proof architecture.

Real Magento projects from our practice
Six Magento projects where we did more than just install a theme — from a B2B relaunch on Hyvä to ERP integration and a web-to-print configurator. Each project with a detailed description of what we actually built.
industriearmaturen-shop24.de — B2B shop for fittings, hose assemblies and pipe fittings, completely rebuilt on Magento 2.4.8 with its own Hyvä theme.

Industriearmaturen-Shop24 — B2B relaunch on Magento 2.4.8 with Hyvä
Barthel Armaturen supplies mechanical engineering, shipyards, and industrial procurement companies with fittings, hose assemblies, and pipe couplings via industriearmaturen-shop24.de. The growing online shop needed to become faster, more secure, and significantly more B2B-friendly—all while maintaining ongoing business operations, without interrupting sales.
We migrated the entire frontend from Magento's standard Luma theme to Hyvä and layered a custom IA24 theme on top: a mega menu, minicart dropdown, and a custom-built product gallery with hover zoom and pinch lightbox. We also added eight custom-developed Magento modules—including a completely custom one-page checkout with B2B field logic, a mandatory order number field, and a PayPal review step—as well as a country-based tax engine with 348 tax rates for 29 countries. The upgrade to Magento 2.4.8-p4 was performed as a database migration using custom scripts instead of the standard tool, because 264 product IDs and five customer attributes had to be remapped.
eight proprietary modules, cleanly DI-based and without vendor patches
Five-layer security architecture against the Magento webshell wave
12 redesigned transactional emails, sitemap with 7.177 URLs
Result: A sophisticated B2B shop on Magento Open Source — without Adobe Commerce Cloud, without vendor lock-in, with maintenance windows and its own countdown page, was implemented cleanly.
meyer-shop.pl — Magento 2 shop with a deep specialist trade catalog, Ajax shopping cart and ERP connection, deployed across multiple country storefronts.
Magento 1 → 2 · ERP Integration · B2B & B2C
Hermann Meyer — Garden center since 1819 on Magento 2
The Hermann Meyer Group has been supplying horticulture, tree nurseries, and landscaping companies since 1819. Their online shop, running on Magento 1, was facing the end of its security support—with thousands of items, established processes, and a customer base comprised of both specialist retailers and end customers.
We completely migrated the shop to Magento 2—not an update, but a move to a new software architecture, including data and the proven design. This was followed by a custom, streamlined template instead of a cumbersome off-the-shelf theme, an Ajax shopping cart that imports products directly from category, homepage, and CMS pages and suggests related items, and a one-page checkout with PayPal, PayPal Express, and Telecash. To enable Meyer to maintain the extensive catalog themselves, we built a clean attribute matrix with CSV import; all orders are automatically transferred to the inventory management system via FTP.
Magento 1 → 2 migration including data and design
Ajax shopping cart with cross-selling for a higher order value
Automated ERP/WMS export, Google Shopping feed with one click
multiple storefronts, including Germany and Poland
Result: An aging Magento 1 shop was transformed into a platform that serves B2B and B2C across multiple countries — and which the customer controls in daily product maintenance.
top-kartenlieferant.de — Magento 2 shop of the Wimmer printing company from Aachen with online card designer for weddings, births, occasions, Christmas and sympathy.
Magento 2 · Web-to-Print · Configurator
Wimmer Printing — Online card shop with its own design configurator
The Wimmer printing company from Aachen sells cards for weddings, births, special occasions, Christmas, and sympathy via top-kartenlieferant.de. However, a card shop doesn't sell a finished product, but rather a customizable one—and Magento doesn't support this natively.
We've been managing the shop for several years and initially migrated it completely from Magento 1 to Magento 2, including products, categories, and customer data. We seamlessly integrated the user-friendly layout from the scribble advertising agency into the system and added its centerpiece: a custom online design configurator where customers can define fonts, colors, their own images and logos, as well as the text for the front and inside covers. We also implemented an Elasticsearch search with intelligent autocomplete, cross-selling across the entire product range, and a one-page checkout with Amazon Pay and Unzer.
Web-to-print configurator with fonts, colors, images and custom text
Elasticsearch with autocomplete across a large map collection
Magento 1 → 2 migration with complete data transfer
Amazon Pay and Unzer in the one-page checkout
Result: A tool instead of a catalog: The configurator directly integrates the printing company's business model into the online shop, eliminating the need for order processing and coordination. Our live demo with a perspective photo preview shows what such a configurator looks like today.
barbarian.eu — Online shop for rugby-inspired fashion, migrated from Magento 1 to Magento 2 and legally compliant for the German market.
Magento 2 · Migration · German Market
Barbarian Rugby Wear — Magento 2 shop for an international brand
Barbarian Rugby Wear sells rugby-inspired fashion and accessories via barbarian.eu — from international rugby jerseys to casual and classic shirts, hoodies, shorts, and socks. The shop was running on Magento 1 and needed to migrate to a platform that meets current requirements and supports growth.
We set up Magento 2 from scratch and migrated the data using LitExtension—with full data integrity and minimal downtime. We implemented the Porto Ultimate theme and customized it to the brand, streamlined the ordering process, and integrated the terms and conditions and cancellation policy directly into the checkout. For the German market, we added the expected payment methods—SEPA direct debit via DebitPayment, Payone, and cash on delivery—as well as a price-based shipping logic that takes the order value into account and remains transparent at checkout.
Data migration Magento 1 → 2 with LitExtension, minimal downtime
Porto Ultimate as a base, responsively adapted
Terms and conditions, privacy policy and cancellation policy are legally integrated
SEPA direct debit, Payone and cash on delivery for the German market
Result: A scalable Magento 2 platform with cleanly configured cron and email operations — ready for further growth in EU shipping.
Magento optimization for a well-stocked tech shop with a wide range of photo, video, audio, and drone products. Anonymized at the client's request.
Magento Open Source · Algolia · Performance
Technology and electronics shop — Magento further developed in a targeted manner
This client carries a very broad range of technology products: solar power, robots, camcorders, lenses, tripods, grips, batteries, drones, gimbals, monitors, lighting and audio equipment—plus sections for new arrivals, leasing, business customers, and special offers. The shop was already running on Magento Open Source; the client wasn't looking for a completely new site, but rather targeted improvements in the right areas. At the client's request, we are not disclosing their name.
We tackled the product view, search, shopping cart, taxes, marketing, and infrastructure one after the other. Price notifications—a strong purchase incentive for tech products—were added to the product view, along with a wish list directly on the product page, supplemented by personalized transactional emails. The cookie session lifespan was increased to significantly extend the lifespan of shopping carts. For the large product range, we installed and configured Algolia Search and redesigned the mega menu to open without JavaScript.
Algolia Search for quick results in the large product range
Price alerts and wish list directly in the product view
Longer shopping cart lifespan beyond the cookie session time
Mega menu without JavaScript, hosted on Maxcluster across multiple domains
Result: Proof that an existing Magento shop is often the faster way to more revenue than a new one — provided you know where to start.
huck-gmbh.de — Magento 2 shop for lifting equipment, ropes, load securing and protective equipment, connected to the ERP system Win-Modi.
Magento 2 · ERP Win modes · Digital strategy
Lothar Huck GmbH — Magento 2 and ERP conceived as one system
Lothar Huck GmbH has been a B2B specialist for lifting equipment, wire ropes, load securing, nets and protective equipment for over 50 years — including the exclusive DRALO wire rope net. Their Magento 2 shop was running, but was neither integrated with the inventory management system nor optimized for search engine visibility.
We developed a customized interface between Magento 2 and the Win-Modi ERP system: order and customer data are automatically exported, and a cron job checks for new orders every five minutes. In parallel, we focused on visibility and conversion—a redesigned homepage with a teaser slider and SEO-optimized text under the category images, a user-friendly product filter for a technical product range with many variations, a new "Application Areas" navigation item with dedicated landing pages, plus upselling and cross-selling, the Mollie and Klarna payment methods, and Matomo for reliable tracking.
Product filter for a technical product range with many variants
Landing pages “Areas of application” plus category SEO and competitor analysis
Mollie and Klarna as additional payment methods, Matomo tracking
Result: From good to great — better customer experience, higher conversion rate and significantly more visibility in search, with noticeably less manual work in order processing.

Cancellation button in Magento 2 – mandatory since June 19, 2026
Since June 19, 2026, online shops have been required to allow consumers to declare their cancellation online – with reference to the specific order, with confirmation, and without having to go through email or post. Magento 2 doesn't offer this feature. Our Smart One Page Checkout Extension includes this functionality – in July 2026, it was the only one of the four major checkout extensions to offer this feature.
