OffyaTree Records is a young music label from Hamburg. They needed a presentation that could do two things at once: effectively showcase the label and its artists — and sell music, both digitally and physically.
We built the label website using Joomla!. For constantly changing content—artist profiles, releases, news—Joomla!'s strengths in content structure and rights management really shine. We separated sales and outsourced them to an integrated music shop, where music downloads, traditional CDs, and other merchandise can be purchased. This way, each system focuses on what it does best, and both areas present a unified image. The artists are deliberately placed at the forefront—the design is tailored to a young label.
Result: An example of how CMS and e-commerce can be sensibly separated — instead of forcing both into one system that only truly masters one of the two tasks.
